1. Adhesion

Adhesive force: 90 g/in (±10%). This viscosity level provides reliable initial grip, effectively preventing light to medium weight materials from shifting after adhesion.

Adhesion: Under standard test conditions, it can withstand a specific load and remain in place for more than 24 hours.

Initial adhesion and final adhesion balance: The initial adhesion is sufficient to fix the parts while allowing a short time for fine adjustment; the final adhesive strength is stable within 24-72 hours after the adhesive and the adherend are fully impregnated.

2. Physical and Mechanical Properties

Base material: cotton paper. Soft texture, can adapt to slight curved surface and irregular surface.

Product Production and Processing Process

Base material preparation: The original cotton paper roll is rolled out and treated with corona or coated with base agent to enhance the bonding force between the base material and the glue.

Glue coating: The solvent-based acrylic glue is evenly coated on both sides of the cotton paper substrate through a precision coating head (such as a mesh roller).

Drying: the coated material enters the section temperature-controlled drying channel to make the organic solvent completely volatilize, and the adhesive layer is transformed from liquid to a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with stable properties.

Composite release paper: The release paper (commonly single light or light-heavy release) is precisely pressed and laminated with the adhesive layers on both sides.

Rolling and maturation: the composite product is harvested and placed in a constant temperature and humidity environment for a certain period of time (maturation) to make the adhesive properties completely stable.

A: Low temperature causes acrylic adhesives to harden and lose initial tack. This is a physical characteristic, not product failure.
Rx:
Preheating: Before use, place the 90u Oil Based Double Sided Tape and the object to be glued in a warm environment of 15-25℃ for a period of time.
Heat during construction: After the tape is attached, use a hair dryer (hot air mode) to briefly and evenly heat the tape area to activate the adhesive before pressing it.
Select a winter formula: Consult suppliers to determine if there are formulas with better low-temperature initial viscosity.


Q2: What should I do if the tape becomes soft or even spills glue under high temperature in summer?

A: The adhesive's cohesion decreases at high temperatures, making it prone to extrusion under pressure.
